Jan is a sixth year teacher who lives in the Orlando area
with her husband and two children. She is a former
homeschooling mom who serves local families as an
evaluator each summer and consultant throughout the
year. She is certified to teach both elementary school
(all subjects) and middle school English.
In addition to her work as a mom and teacher, Jan is the
editor of the Central Florida Green Guide. She has
written articles about education and other topics at Suite
