ArtsFest is a free celebration of art and cultural experiences that spans across four counties.  According to a friend’s recent post on the Central FL Green Guide, it’s a blast and should not be missed.

The festival is occuring in February and will last for 10 days.  It’s important to plan ahead because some events require tickets that can be obtained for free from the Red Chair Project.  The 32 page event guide provides detailed explanations and even features “kid friendly” icons to assist those who will attend with young children. 

I think we’re going to check out a few events this year.  I like the idea that my children can be exposed to new art experiences while having fun.
